Members of Longbarn Residents’ Association travelled to York in a Community Trip. Leaving Longbarn by 8.30am the residents made their way to York. They were able to spend time looking around this very interesting City and visited The Minster, the Shambles, the Railway Museum and the “famous” Betty’s Cafe. Some residents had a sail on the River as far as the Bishops Palace. The weather was good and all agreed, after returning late, that a good time was had by all.”
