As we approach, all too fast, Xmas and the New Year, we were looking back over a year that has been very eventful for the residents of our estate.

Remember the Bayleaf fire?  Of course you do.

Without a doubt, the fire, back in March, must be one of the major “events” of the year.  Gobsmacking destruction.  Thankfully the rubble etc. was quickly removed and the site tidied up as best as it could be under the circumstances.

Later on, and despite best efforts by all concerned, the Bayleaf site was temporarily “invaded” by Travellers who left it a mess.  Something else that had to be cleaned up!   Grrrrrrr!

As we look forward to work starting on the new development on the site on 8 January 2018, we thought you might like to see a reminder of just how devastating the Bayleaf blaze was.
