A reminder that our first Community Fun Day is just over two weeks away. This will be held on New Horizons School Playing Field, Fallowfield Grove from 12 noon to 5 pm. The arrangements are moving along steadily and looking good.  The Mayor (Councillor Geoff Settle) will open the event at 12 noon.

For your entertainment we have Trinity Girls Brass Band.  Directed by Ryan Watkins (solo trombone for the famous Brighouse & Rastrik Brass band) they have the unique distinction of being the only all-female amteur brass band in the country.  Their love of performing is undoubtedly expressed in the music that they play.

Hawkeye Falconry Display – based in  Shropshire they undertake over 200 public, private and corporate events a year. The displays concentrate on the natural behaviours of the birds, whilst giving everybody, of all ages, a close encounter with the sport of Falconry.

The local Carmen Morris Dancers are a girls/ladies dance troupe. All ages are welcome from todlers to adults.  They practice on Tuesday evenings at Padgate Community Centre from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
