The results of the North West in Bloom Competition 2017 were announced in Southport TODAY (1st November 2017).
Representatives from LRA were very proud, AGAIN, to receive a Level 5 Certificate (OUTSTANDING) on behalf of the estate and all the volunteers from Longbarn who have contributed to achieving this result for the second year running. FANTASTIC.
I for one, am very grateful to the people who put their time and effort into maintaining the planters, grass verges, the embankment, litter picking etc. etc. GREAT JOB TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS. When I think about it, I’m certain that there is no area in Warrington, or in fact in a much bigger area than that, that is so well looked after and presented. Everyone on the estate benefits and how good is it when family, friends and visitors comment on how good Longbarn looks.
If you feel inspired to pitch in, in the future, just contact LRA via this website or via a Committee member and you will be warmly welcomed. You don’t have to do much, every little bit helps.
Keep up the good work and it’s good to see recognition of all the effort that is put in.
