Greencore is very keen to keep Longbarn residents informed of the progress being made with the major works that are underway at their site and Greencore has provided us with the attached update report.  Probably, the most important aspect of the work, as far as Longbarn residents is concerned, is the elimination of odours resulting from the cooking process (Odour Abatement System).  David Pearson, who leads on our dealings with Greencore, said recently

“it is more important than ever to report any odour issues to either the factory site on 01925 825196 or the Environment Agency on their 24hr hotline 0800 807060 in order that performance of the site can be closely monitored for everyone’s benefit in the future”.

LRA appreciates the efforts that Greencore has made in the past and their openness and co-operation in trying to remove the problem for our estate, and looks forward to a solution to the odour problem.
