Leylandii Mayberry Grove

The New Year has started well for residents of Mayberry Grove.  LRA has been working, for some time, with the residents to have a problem with large Leylandii in the Grove addressed.

On Tuesday morning work started to sort out the problem.  Some of the residents were awoken by a lot of machinery noise and discovered that it was the contractor cutting down all the offending Leylandii.  It was a pity that the residents did not know that the work was scheduled to start and some people were knocked up rather early to move their cars.  However, this represents the first success of 2018, and good news, for the affected residents and LRA who worked together to get a problem satisfactorily resolved.

The contractor has said the work will take two days and involves the use of some pretty hefty equipment, so the cost of the work is substantial.
